Tiempo Social is an informative, monthly magazine, targeting the bilingual Hispanic market in all of New England.

Company History

Marisol Camilo and Yuri Liriano founded Tiempo Social Magazine on June 14, 2004 due to the lack of information available to the Latino Community in English and Spanish.

The magazine has enjoyed substantial success being awarded by The Hispanic American Chamber of Commerce, “Small Business of the Year” in 2005; later in 2007, the magazine was selected by RILPAC as the “Emerging Business Leader Award” in its annual Bill Richardson awards.

Marisol Camilo is an experienced journalist from the Dominican Republic with more than 18 years of work in television and written press.

She arrives to the United States in 2003 and a year later founded Tiempo Social Magazine. Since then, Marisol along with her husband Yuri Liriano, has worked arduously in making Tiempo Social Magazine the preferred medium in all of the Latino communities in New England.

Since 2004 Marisol has been responsible for the editorial production of more than 45 editions of Tiempo Social capturing the interests of our ever growing reader population.

In 2005, Tiempo Social Magazine was selected “Small Hispanic Business of the Year” by the Hispanic American Chamber of Commerce and in 2007 RILPAC selected Tiempo Social for the “Latino Emerging Leader in Business Award” in its annual Bill Richardson Awards ceremony.

Yuri Liriano

Executive Director and Photographer

Yuri Liriano was born in the Dominican Republic.  He arrived in the United States in 1973. Later his uncle, Fernando Liriano, a seasoned photographer from the Dominican Republic, introduced him to photography at an early age. Many years later he bought his first camera and intuitively started taking pictures to friends and families. Yuri spent most of his free time teaching himself the technical aspects of the art during which his passion for photography grew even more.

Since 2004 Yuri Liriano has garnered great reviews for his cover photography of Tiempo Social Magazine. Through his lens, the artist has captured the essence of important figures and has produced fashion photo sessions for the cover of the magazine.

Yuri Liriano has done commercial photography for local businesses, as well as weddings and other private events.

At present, he is immersed in perfecting his technique, aiming to improve the quality of the images in Tiempo Social and working to expand and grow the magazine.

Fashion Editor

Since a very early age Anayra Garcia, alumni from Escuela de Diseño de Altos de Chavón / Parson’s School of Design, knew that she loved art and most of all .. fashion! Winner of the first place award for her male style and outfit , in Altos de Chavon, she has maintained her passion for design by being the fashion editor for the magazine Tiempo Social. Anayra also has her own line called Anico Style, that has been featured in diverse runway shows and events. She’s coordinated events from the initial concept to the final product in everything that involves art.

Antonio Zafra, born in Colombia and graduated in Business Administration, has been working in the area of marketing for five years in the northeastern United States. In addition, he directs his own company, Logos Marketing Solutions, which is dedicated to the distribution of promotional products. Antonio is part of the team of marketing and sales Tiempo Social.
